This one might be my favorite so far. Still, you did an excellent job with all of them, particularly Zach, Elwyen, and Sharla... I wish I had your grasp of facial expression! You put so much personality into a single portrait, I'm quite envious.

Maybe a little longer face but I think it's just me. Good work on your attempt for an African-like face.

Oooo hes looks exactly like how you portrait him in the game, deep and dark and shady with a broken past. Like how you gave a strong jaw to kinda make him look all mercenary.

Okay, so, I suppose this is the last picture today? Being an incredible Mardek fanboy, and, well, your fanboy, I'm going to comment on every portrait you've done.

Let's start with the ones I absolutely love: Sharla, Emela and Donovan. Sha- is simply gorgeous. She definitely looks like in the original in-game picture, should be really easy to recognize by anyone who have played the third game, har face looks great, her eyes look great, her hair looks great (I generally like how you do the hair) and...I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Emela- same thing. Looks really pretty, I think she is kind of pale, but considering her origins, this completely fits-it's not a complaint, shading of the skin is very well done, eyes look more 'alive' than in the earlier female pictures, it's amazing.

Aaand here's Donovan. Wait, let mi find a quote...ah, here it is. "I like how you did the lips". I really do. You know how ofter artists completely fail to draw male lips? Making only a single line for mouth, because adding actual lip makes a character immediately look like a female? Well, my congratulations, you are not one of those artists. Donovan's face looks awesome, I love the cheekbone-thing you make, it adds to the masculinity of the character. Again, Don is easly recognizable. If you're going to draw the full characters, I really want to see him and Sharla in the elementalist clothes.

Neext...Deugan. some time ago I joked with a friend we're going to cosplay as Mardek and Deugan, only I don't look anything like Deugan. Well...now Deugan looks kinda like me, and Mardek looks nothing like my friend. I like his new look a lot, and, whatever might be a problem, you already mentioned yourself in the description. The beard makes him him look older, but hey, let's just say it's his M3 look. It also explains the grumpiness. About Mardek I already talked...No new comments here...

And now, Vehrn and Zach. The Paladin is a problem for me, you know? He is one of my favourite characters. In the picture his face looks great, he's simillar to the ingame character, even the purple stubble looks plausible...But his expression, he looks just EVIL. Good YALORT, what happened to him? I'm sorry, but, even though the anatomy is good, the detail is great, if you wanted him to have this cheerful smile like in the picture on the side....something didn't go as planned. Maybe he's trying to give a seducing look to a girl behind the screen, but I'd rather go with burning a Solakian orphanage.

Finally, Zach. I really like how you have drawn a black skinned person of african origin. But myself, I've never seen Zach as an African. If you've ever played Dragon Agerigins (not DA2), than you know Sten (or The Sten). That's how I imagined Zach. I know it's probably only my personal interpretation, but the characters are similar in so many ways (Both are silent, stoic figures, both are Proud Warrior Race Guys, both are boring teammates at the begging, but grow more interesting later, etc etc etc.) I simply cannot get this idea out of my mind.

From the purely artistic point of view, the portrait is very well done. The ethnic shapes are drawn well, the light on dark skin is good- many people mess it up- and it's generally a good pic. But it's not Zach for me.

And remember it's just an opinion of a random internet person. Don't worry about stuff too much. Oh, and a friend wanted me to tell you that you're overnerver and you nerved-off Mardek and Deugan. I am not going to explain what 'overnerver' and 'nerved-off' means. I don't understand it fully myself. I'm just relaying the message.

I dunno about that. Zach's facial marking's and Sharla's bangs are more distinguishing than you realize.
