'Meek Girl' Character Design

I haven't really done any art in ages, which is annoying! However, something I've been thinking about for ages is starting some kind of webcomic-like thing, mainly as a way to improve my skills, since it'll be nice to have something TO draw instead of sitting around trying to think of things. And stuff.

I've experimented with various ideas and characters before - like that 'Halcyon Dreams' thing I talked about and drew concept art for a while back - but never really went very far with them... Since I've been developing this 'Alora Fane' world recently, though, and planning to set several games in it and stuff, I've been thinking more about whether I could set a webcomic in that world, too! It seems like a decent idea, as it'd allow me to flesh out one world rather than dividing my attention between several, and it might be appealing to players due to the familiarity of the setting and stuff.

Anyway, I've come up with a general plot/setting sort of thing, and some as-of-yet-unnamed characters! So I thought it was time to design their appearance. Before coming up with their names. Yes.

This would be the protagonist; essentially she'd be the exact same character I've been trying to do for a while now (Marissa, Caoimhe, etc), which would be a shy, sensitive sort of person, etc, etc. So she's of the Meek race!
She's innocent and naive and has never left her village/home/whatever before... but the plot involves her being swept up into some adventure with a Bold guy due to some magical dragon and, uh... I suppose you'll see, in time! Or not, because I never start the comic. EITHER WAY.

It's sort of disheartening in a way to go through all these multiple ideas only to end up with a fairly bland design at the end! OH WELL. I wanted to create a SIMPLE design because I'll have to draw it over and over again... and I also wanted it to not be sexified or anything. And for it to have a sort of 'rustic' feel. AND for it to incorporate the Alora Fane flower. Yes.
Next, I'm planning to draw her in several different poses and stuff!
